South Central (Downtown) Austin:

Austin Farmers Market The true Austin Farmers Market! In Austin!! A Saturday market and a  Wednesday Market right in the heart of Austin. These markets are as true local economy as it gets. Farmers from a 150 mile radius gather with local artisans and crafters to sell their goods. Now that we sell liquid soap, we might even show up to sell if it’s raining!

Saturday      9am - 1pm    on 4th st. and Guadalupe (By Republic Square Park)

Wednesday     4pm –8pm   In the grass field in the complex of The Triangle (46th st. between Lamar and Guadaulpe)

Sparks Cards and Gifts -  a great place for cards and witty things on stationery. Check out whats new and get some ice cream next door…

Book People 603 N. Lamar, There is Nothing quite like buying a book and getting a bar if soap to wash with when you are done reading. Book People is an independently owned local business and a great place to find intellectual quality of all kinds.

 

Central Austin (By UT):

Wheatsville Co-op -  3101 Guadalupe, Yes! We are in Wheatsville. Go Buy some of our great soap and support the coolest (and only) co-op grocery store in Austin … And buy something else good for you while you are at, you can’t be too healthy. They have all sorts of healthy stuff here! What are you waiting for!

 

North Central:

Fresh Plus – Hyde Park 408 E 43rd St. - An Awesome local community grocery store.

38th St. Pharmacy – 711 W 38th St. - Get you prescription filled by friendly folks who take care of those they care for.

Myo Massage – At the Triangle (45th and Lamar), Who does not need a massage? Go get one!

Green Fields – A consignment shop full of cool glass and body care.

Parkcrest Floral Design 5408 Parkcrest – the place to go to get stuff for the ladies in your life, especially to say “Happy Anniversary” or “I’m sorry I forgot our anniversary” or “Don’t Hate me just because I accidentally ran over your flower garden coming home drunk last night…”

 

East Austin:

WooHoo! Some representation on the East Side!

East End Gallery 1101 Navasota St. #4 – A collaborative effort of Austin Artisans showcasing there work together. Awesome candles, handmade clothes and accessories, and awesome soap!

PitchForks and TableSpoons 2113 Manor Rd (next to the East Side Café!) – a good place for farm fresh food made into delicious stuff and put right on your plate!

Mode – 1601 E Ceaser Chavez,  A boutique with great taste.

 

 

South Austin:

Mr Nice Guys – S. 1st st. and Dittmar, by the BBQ place (Chiefs) where some of us stop on our way to go throw discs at Seawright. As far as Smoke shops go, these guys really are the nicest guys in town. Stop in and check there fine selection of gear… to wash with especially!

Austin Gift Company  - 4211 S. Lamar ste. A19, Next to the Target on South Lamar and Ben White, Real close to Straight Music. This place has a huge variety of handmade crafts and random cool things. Very quaint; worth the time you will spend their looking through all the booths.

LowBrow Emporium – A place that we are just barely cool enough to be in! They have got all sorts of (what word do kids use for neat these days?) art, gifts, gear and threads and lots of other words for stuff that I think don’t do it enough justice since it really is cool and not just a place that I could use preferentially connotative language for that the target market to recognize and respond to…

Thom’s Market – 1418 Barton Springs Rd., A Nice little Local shop off of Barton Springs Rd. A Great place to find  food, local goods and a good selection of drinks.

Cissi’s Market an urban food market… I guess. (I cannot get over there beverage selection.. Ginger brew! awesome!) Here is what they say about what they have to offer. In addition to gourmet groceries and organic produce, you’ll find fresh fish, gourmet sandwiches, designer coffee, an impressive beer and wine selection, a juice bar, fantastic prepared foods and really good soap made by the hard working hands of South Austin People.

Moxie and the Compound – 2110 S. Lamar, Suite F. , a boutique of clothes, art, and just general cool stuff.

On the Run Food Mart – 2919 Manchaca , The Convenience store that is where Manchaca meets Barton Skyway.

PlantEscape Gardens/Diaz Gallery - 3507 S. 1st st., at the corner of Alpine and 1st where you see the pretty plants and fountain. This is a truly unique store where one may sip on fine Ruta Mayan coffee while browsing amongst the beautiful flowers, herbs, and amazing artwork. Even if you don't go there to get the soap we make and sell there only using his very dried herbs, then go to see what a fine piece of the Austin scene this place has become. 

Eco-Wise - 110 W. Mary, Right next to the Vulcan Video, right behind Guerros on South Congress. All sorts of good environmentally smart stuff and hemp-based items. Do not forget your Bio-diesel and Ginger Brew.

SinSations - 2008 S. 1st st., Just north of Live oak, by the tattoo shop on the west side, across from the yellow store. South Austin's very own adult boutique.. a collection of fine products no one should be embarrassed to check out, but might be. They don't sell adult movies but come without the kids anyway. 

SummerMoon CoffeeBar3115 S.1st. #1B, Wood fired coffee and a beautiful wooden deck to drink it on. They make the most delicious latte with their MoonMilk that will get you addicted! Its called the SummerMoon Latte…Try IT! Use our soap as a great excuse to go and get some coffee right now!

Flipnotics1603 Barton Springs rd., A cool place to find hard to find old clothes and great soaps and lotions. They serve coffee upstairs, and are conveniently located by all sorts of great local restaurants.

The Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin - Healing Arts

White Crane (south) – 1902 S. Congress, A helpful place to find herbs and seek advice on non-western ways of healing and medicine. This store is a place to find what many need but know not where to find it.

BlueBonnet Food Mart   1701 Bluebonnet lane, Serving the people of the Barton Hills neighborhood ever so faithfully for as long as I can remember, this store is up one of the true markets of the South Austin People.  All the kids will laugh at you if you do not stop here for your beer on your way to go play kickball!

Live Oak Market -  Manchaca just south of Ben White, This is a store you must go to. You will go back. It is like a convenience store filled with not a bunch of crap but nothing other than absolutely delicious or tasty often unique consumables. I was ever so glad when the old 7-11 became a locally owned grill and store, (incredible sandwiches really!) but I never would have guessed at what an astonishingly great selection of locally made goods they would accrue.

Austin Baby  505 W Mary, A store devoted entirely to helping ease a mother’s ability to provide good natural products for her family. Diaper Service and education for natural cloth diapering. They have all sorts of great Mama-Baby gear, including Natural soaps and Lotions, as well as sprays to help stinky places smell better.

Whip-IN – 1950 S. IH-35, This is where Austin Shops for Beer. There is no place with a bigger better selection. There is no place where the staff is as knowledgeable about the drink that Benjamin Franklin said is proof that God Loves us and wants us to be happy. If you are looking for beer, come here. They also have a great selection of local goods, and promote Local Music. They are so Cool. People will make fun of you if you drink beer and have never been here before. Also if you smell bad, so get some soap while you are at it.

 

North Austin:

 

The Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin – Herbal Pharmacy

White Crane (North) – 2700 W. Anderson Ln. #204,  A helpful place to find herbs and seek advice on non-western ways of medicine and healing. This store is a place to find what many need but know not where to find it.

The Lauterstein Conway School of Massage – 4701-B Burnet Rd. (Behind the Phoenicia Bakery), If you want to go through massage school, this is a great place to do it. This school is well known for there training and has a great staff. This is also the place to go if you are looking for a large pump bottle of our lotion or Massage oils.

Planet K  – Stores all over Austin, San Marcos, and San Antonio

 

 

In Bastrop:

The Book Basket - in the shopping center just east of the HEB right off of HWY71, This is a beautiful used bookstore where one may find a huge selection of books at prices that you can be happy about. If you live in or near Bastrop, you should visit this store.

In Lockhart:

The Life Emporium –  Right in the Heart of the city, on Old San Antonio Road Just Off the square. A place where one can find helpful education and information on how to live a healthy life, and products that will help you do it.
